We are delighted to share some exciting news with you: Hotel Kronelamm is expanding! With a carefully planned extension, we are creating more space for well-being, comfort, and modern processes – so that your stay with us in Zavelstein becomes even more relaxing.
What’s New?
29 new rooms & suites, some featuring a private sauna or whirlpool on the balcony
A modern parking garage with 100 parking spaces, EV charging stations, and optimized logistics
A spacious spa expansion including an infinity rooftop pool, a new indoor pool, relaxing new quiet zones, and additional treatment rooms
A new fitness area and a dedicated yoga & movement room
An expanded gourmet restaurant in a panoramic pavilion with wine tasting room
Improved staff facilities to ensure our team feels just as comfortable as our guests
Good to Know: We’re Expanding – Not Renovating
The construction work takes place outside the existing hotel building, as a separate extension on the side of the property. This means:
Your stay will be spatially separated from the construction site
Rooms, spa, and restaurants remain fully available in their usual quality
Views of the pool, the Krone, and the Black Forest remain unchanged
What Does This Mean for Your Stay?
As with any large-scale construction project, temporary noise disturbances cannot be completely avoided. The intensity may vary depending on the building phase – and perceptions of noise differ from person to person.
We are doing everything we can to minimize disruptions and will coordinate the work with the greatest possible care for our guests’ experience.
Timeline & Outlook
Scheduled start of construction: End of April 2025
Estimated completion: End of 2026
